Hello Readers and Happy December! Can hardly believe we’ve about come to the end of 2016. I’d like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and end out the year with some news. Precisely, the title and release date for my next historical novel set on the 18th century frontier.

Many Sparrows will release from WaterBrook Multnomah (Penguin Random House) September 19, 2017

This time the story is set neither in North Carolina nor in New York. I’m venturing into new-to-me territory and taking you on a journey along the Ohio River (or the Spay-lay-wetheepi, as the Shawnees call it). Along with my characters, Clare and Jeremiah, you’ll cover ground in Virginia (and what is today West Virginia) and also in Ohio, only it wasn’t called Ohio in that tumultuous pre-Revolutionary War year of 1774…

More news to come (like a cover image!) next year…

And in case you might be interested, I’ve also had a look this week at the Dutch version of A Flight of Arrows, which has been re-titled Aan het einde van de vallei (At The End of the Valley).
