You’ve landed in the new cyber-home for my Frontier Faith & Fiction brand of historical novels (Burning Sky, Many Sparrows, The King’s Mercy, etc). Have a look around. Take a book off a shelf. Find a comfy place to read—that waterfall looks like a good spot!

Along with the new digs to share with you all, there are a couple of options now available to help us keep in touch going forward, and to better let you know all my writing and book-related news.

First, you can subscribe to this blog. While we were able to transfer my old blog posts, we were unable to transfer subscriptions from my old Blogger site to this new website, so if you’re interested in receiving my Very Occasional Blog Posts via email, you’ll need to subscribe again—or for the first time. You can do that over on the side bar of this page. (See “Follow Lori by Email” section)

Second, please take a moment to sign up for the Frontier Faith & Fiction Newsletter:

When you do, here’s what will happen…

  • You’ll be the first to receive news of upcoming books and major book-related news, plus receive other exclusive/early content
  • You’ll be entered into contests exclusively for newsletter subscribers
  • We can better keep in touch!

This newsletter (my first!) is an evolving idea. I don’t have a set schedule yet but am leaning toward sending out two main newsletters per year, plus a short note in between if something majorly newsworthy or too fun to keep to myself should occur in my writing world.

For now, to celebrate all this Newness, I’ll be holding a Drawing later in September open exclusively to Newsletter Subscribers. Several randomly selected subscribers will win Prizes including: a signed set of all my books; a $25 Amazon gift card; signed copies of my new release, The King’s Mercy; autumn/waterfall landscape photo prints; and very likely more. Winners’ names and specific prizes will be listed in the Fall 2019 Newsletter.

I hope you’ll take advantage of this new (to me) way of keeping in touch! And let me (and my awesomely talented website designer, Savanna Kaiser) know what you think of the new website down in the comments.
